The summer is winding down here in Missouri, and I am preparing to start my first year as Cubmaster for our local scout pack. For the last 3 years, I have been a den leader. This year, however, I will be taking over the reigns as Cubmaster.
I won't lie. I am a bit intimidated. I work an evening job full time, and preparing to apply to the L.P.N program at the local VoTech School, and am a mother of 4. (All of whom are now involved in Scouting...1 Boyscout, 1 Girl Scout, 2 Cub Scouts).
But, I am excited as well. I have some big plans for our pack this year. From a new venue for our Fall Festival to a really fun service project and everything in between.
I wanted to create a space where I could share what I am doing in my pack. And that's what I hope this space will become. I plan on sharing pack meeting ideas, den meetings, special events and more.
